DC Moore Gallery is currently open to the public by appointment for contactless exhibition viewing, Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm.
In response to COVID-19, the gallery has implemented the following policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of our employees, clients, visitors and vendors. We hope that sharing this will help you feel safe when visiting our gallery:
-The gallery will provide hand sanitizer and requires all visitors to wear a mask and keep a 6 feet distance from all gallery staff.
-Groups are limited to 6 people. We cannot accommodate large groups or tours at this time.
-If booking for more than one guest, please increase the quantity field listed.
-We ask that visitors please notify the gallery if someone in your group falls ill within two weeks of the visit.
If any of the following apply to you, a member of your household, or close contact, you are asked not to visit the gallery:
-Tested positive for COVID-19.
-Experienced a fever over 99° F in the past 48-hours.
-Experienced any symptoms commonly associated with COVID-19 that cannot be attributed to a preexisting condition or injury (cough, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, loss of taste or smell, muscle or body aches, etc.)
-Have been notified of exposure to COVID-19 and are under a mandatory quarantine period as instructed by a State or local Health Department.

Requests will receive responses in 7-14 business days and be processed in 2-4 weeks. If your request is time-sensitive, please specify the deadline in your first email. A flat fee is charged for any rush requests. Please note that the gallery cannot guarantee that your deadlines will be met if you do not schedule accordingly.

Founded in 1995, DC Moore Gallery represents nationally and internationally known contemporary artists whose diverse practices include painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and installation, as well as important estates and foundations including those of Romare Bearden, Charles Burchfield, Paul Cadmus, Robert de Niro, Sr., Ralph Eugene Meatyard, Nathan Oliveira, George Tooker, and Jane Wilson. The gallery is primary representative to Eric Aho, David Driskell, Janet Fish, Mary Frank, Mark Innerst, Yvonne Jacquette, Valerie Jaudon, Joyce Kozloff, Robert Kushner, Whitfield Lovell, Duane Michals, Carrie Moyer, Claire Sherman, Katia Santibañez, Barbara Takenaga, Darren Waterston, and Alexi Worth. The gallery specializes in 20th century American painting, sculpture, and works on paper, including Modernism, Magic Realism, African American, Social Realism, and Abstraction Expressionism. In recent years the gallery’s program has expanded to include photography.
DC Moore Gallery maintains a robust exhibition schedule mounting fifteen to twenty museum-quality exhibitions annually, ranging from historical presentations, to focused one-person shows and major career retrospectives. The gallery supports a vigorous publication program producing significant catalogues and books, with essays by distinguished art historians and critics. As a member of the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA) and The Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) DC Moore subscribes to the highest standards of connoisseurship and scholarship.
The gallery maintains long-standing relationships with museums, private collectors, and corporations around the world and is dedicated to providing expertise and guidance to both beginning and established collectors.
