Critics Alexi Worth, Roberta Smith and Siri Hustvedt join David Cohen of artcritical for an evening of live public debate, looking typically at four carefully selected current solo shows of new work by contemporary artists.
Audience members, many seeing the shows ahead of the evening, play a lively role in deliberations. As artist and critic Alexi Worth, a guest on our first Brooklyn panel and a longstanding attendee, wrote recently, “As print criticism shrinks, The Review Panel is ever more valuable, as a model, a magnet, and a proof that ‘serious’ can also mean ‘entertaining.’”
